Today, Andy and I recorded the vocals for 'Ground Floor (again)'.

I chose to record the lead using a Neumann U87, and the doubles and harmonies with my own Shure SM7B. I chose to do this because the Neumann U87 is a condenser that captures high frequencies very sensitively, whereas the Shure SM7B is dynamic and a little less sharp.

The session lasted 2 hours 45 mins and we recorded the following tracks:
