I recently bought a Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre which is an 18-in / 20-out audio interface. It has 8 built-in inputs and has the option for expanding via ADAT.
I've recently started feeling limited by my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2-in / 2-out audio interface (when not using a mixing desk). This is an investment into my business as I will be able to say yes to more jobs with it.
It came with LOADS of bundled software including this amazing channel strip plugin. It's modelled on the ISA 110 module found in the Focusrite Studio Console:
I've read through the manual and started using it in my projects. The Analog mode is my favourite thing about it... it really sounds analog.
Also, all the sounds in the unboxing video above were recorded separately to the video (Foley) so that I didn't have a microphone in the video but could simultaneously get a clean / closeup sound.
